Meiri Spikes River to Scoop Huge Pot and Bust Two

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Picking the action up on a board of 105K7, short-stack Drisse Maouchi was all-in for around 21,000, and had received action from Hicham Hachoumi and Aviv Meiri. 50,000 was in the main pot, with 30,000 in the side pot.

Hachoumi moved all in for around 51,000 and Meiri was deep in the tank.

Meiri repeatedly asked "Do you want a call?" and Hachoumi eventually responded "I don't know your hand."

The clock was called by Maouchi, and just before his time ran out, Meiri slammed in the call.

Drisse Maouchi: 108 All in
Hicham Hachoumi: AA All in
Aviv Meiri: KJ

Hachoumi was in great shape to take the whole pot, his pocket aces ahead of Meiri's pair of kings and Maouchi's pair of tens.

However the J rolled off on the river to give Meiri top two pair, and send both of his opponents packing.

Hachoumi let out a yelp of pain and threw his hands up in disgust at his misfortune, while Meiri repeatedly apologized profusely to his opponent. That was scant consolation for Hachoumi as he headed for the exit.

Elie Regazzoni: 1010 All in
Conor Beresford: AK

Regazzoni was ahead in the race and remained so after the J49 flop.

The 2 rolled off on the turn, and Beresford again check-called a bet of 10,000 from Zab.

The river brought the 10 and Beresford checked for a third time. Zab wasted little time in sliding out a bet of 50,000, putting Beresford to the test for the rest of his stack. After a brief period of thought, Beresford folded.
