Tremblay Wins the Battle of the Blinds

Level 18 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

The action folded all the way to the small blind where Isabelle Tremblay limped and Mitchell Scholefield checked his option in the big blind.

The 9♦8♦K♥ flop landed and it quickly checked through to a 6♠ turn. Tremblay opted to take the betting lead with a wager of 20,000. After a short tank, Scholefield flicked in a call and the 2♦ rolled off on the river.

The action slowed back down and checked through and Tremblay quickly tabled 8♠6♥ for two pair and her sparing partner mucked.

The action was opened under the gun when Heng Chong moved all in for his last 49,000 chips. One by one every single player folded all the way to Sandy Lam in the big blind. She mulled over her options for awhile and seemed to be in a tough spot for the small shove. Eventually she flicked in a call and the cards hit their backs.
